Codex app
The desktop app shares its MCP servers with the Codex CLI and IDE extension: add Kite in any of them and the others have it.
Setup

Add Kite
In the app, open Settings → MCP servers → Add server. Name it Kite, choose Streamable HTTP and paste this address, then save and click Restart.

Sign in
Click Authenticate next to Kite and approve in the browser.

Try it
In a new chat, ask:
Make me a launch banner in a new Kite file, then give me the link.
To disconnect Codex app later, see Revoke access.
